A Must Have!!, June 16, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: ISM Adamo Race Saddle White (Misc.) I own a 2010 Giant Trinity SL2. I rode this bike for about a month with the saddle that came with it and after any rides longer than two hours, things down there would start to go numb. This seat made a huge difference, I would totally recommend it to anyone with a tri bike that is having trouble with the stock saddle.

In Latin "adamo" means "to fall in love with, find pleasure in" and it is an apt description of this saddle. For the past 6 years that I have been riding I have always used the stock saddle. About a year ago I started doing triathlons. When I dropped into the aggressive aero position, sitting on the front of the saddle made me uncomfortable.
I have always found that I do not perform well when distracted by discomfort. In my opinion, the best saddle ( or any equipment) is the one you have to think or worry about. Adamo was the answer I was looking for. Not only does it reduce perineal nerve pressure, but it makes the aero position in my tri bike more comfortable. For me, this translated into the improvement of my bike splits during triathlons.
The Adamo saddle is not just for triathletes, I know ride on it with my rode bike. Friends of mine even have it on their mountain bikes. Because the saddle is unique, it does take some getting used to. It may not... Read more
