4 of 4 people found the following review helpful Shifters, March 12, 2012 By  RyanCamp - See all my reviews This review is from: Shimano Ultegra 6700 Double 10-Speed Shifter/Brake Lever Set (Sports) Just purchased these shifters for my bike and put them on. The installation was very simple and the adjustment was pretty easy. I rode about 400 miles on the shifters and they worked great, shifts were fast and clean and the shifters themselves are pretty light weight. Unfortunately I went down in a race last weekend and my left shifter blade snapped. I guess this is fairly common because of the carbon that is used in the blade. I searched online for days and then contacted Shimano customer service via phone. Turns out that the do not sell replacement blades and in order to fix my shifter I needed to buy a new one. For 40 dollars you can buy a new Sram or Campy blade and rebuild everything yourself but now i need to drop almost 300 just to ride again.
